About:

Handmade sponges using techniques handed down through generations originating from Korea.

How did you get started?

Sponge started as a way for me to feel closer to my grandma who was losing a long battle with dementia. I first began learning to crochet and knit from her when I was five or six years old. These types of scrubby sponges are everywhere in Korea, they're often handmade and gifted to friends and family. I began giving them to my favorite people and was eventually convinced to start selling them through Coming Soon, where I work!

What’s your favorite space and why?

My apartment! I love tools, objects, furniture, mostly vintage- and I just want to be around all my things all the time.
